These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website singhsolar.com.au ("Website") and any services provided by Singh Solar Solutions ("Singh Solar", "we", "us", "our"), a sub division of Austech Telecom and Electrical Pty Ltd.

By using our Website, submitting an enquiry, or engaging us for services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Website or services.

1. Who We Are

We are a Clean Energy Council (CEC) accredited solar installer, operated by Austech Telecom and Electrical Pty Ltd (ABN 78 600 121 793, NETCC Approved Seller), providing residential and commercial solar, battery, and related electrical services across Melbourne, Geelong, and surrounding areas of Victoria.

2. Use of This Website

You may use our Website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

• Use the Website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website or our systems
• Copy, reproduce, or republish any content from this Website without our written permission

3. Enquiries and Quotes

Submitting an enquiry or quote request through our Website does not create a binding contract between you and Singh Solar Solutions.

• Quotes provided (verbally, by email, or in writing) are estimates based on the information available at the time and may be subject to change following a site inspection or once full project details are confirmed.
• Quotes are generally valid for the period stated on the quote, or 30 days if no period is stated.
• A formal agreement, works order, or invoice acceptance will confirm the final scope, pricing, and terms for any job.

4. Our Services

We provide CEC-accredited solar panel and battery installations, and related electrical work, in accordance with all applicable Victorian and Australian licensing and safety standards.

• All electrical work is carried out by licensed electricians in accordance with AS/NZS wiring rules and relevant Victorian regulations.
• Solar installations are carried out in accordance with Clean Energy Council (CEC) guidelines and applicable Australian Standards.
• Where a job requires council approval, distributor network approval (e.g. for solar export limits), or other third-party sign-off, we will inform you, but timing for these approvals is outside our control.

5. Payment Terms

• Payment terms will be specified in your individual quote, invoice, or agreement.
• Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are due on the terms stated on the invoice.
• We reserve the right to charge interest or suspend further work on overdue accounts, to the extent permitted by law.
• Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and, unless stated otherwise, are inclusive of GST.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked job, please contact us as soon as possible.
• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, or failure to provide site access at the agreed time, may incur a call-out or rescheduling fee, as outlined in your quote or booking confirmation.
• Any deposits paid may be non-refundable where materials have already been ordered or scheduling costs incurred, unless otherwise required by law.

7. Warranties

• All workmanship is carried out to relevant Australian Standards and, where applicable, is covered by a workmanship warranty as specified in your job agreement or invoice.
• Solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other equipment are covered by the relevant manufacturer's warranty, separate from our workmanship warranty. Details of applicable product warranties will be provided with your installation documentation.
• Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL, including the right to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have services re-performed if they fail to meet a consumer guarantee.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the cost of re-supplying the services or the amount paid for the services giving rise to the claim.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including loss of income, data, or business opportunity) arising from your use of our Website or services.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Site Access and Safety

For any on-site works, you agree to:

• Provide safe and reasonable access to the property and work area
• Disclose any known hazards (e.g. asbestos, structural issues, pre-existing electrical faults)
• Ensure any pets are secured during the visit

We reserve the right to postpone or decline works if the site is assessed as unsafe.

10. Third-Party Links

Our Website may contain links to third-party websites (e.g. manufacturer or partner sites). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party website, and inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

11. Privacy
